CI MA

Ci MA was born in 2019 from the meeting between Ci and MA.

In 2020 Ci and MA founded CI MA and started working on the first projects.
From 2021 to 2024 CI MA studio was in Via San Carlo in Bologna in small laboratory under the porches. 

Now in Via dell’Isonzo 2, in Bologna and in Andrea Costa area, B I House has been converted into CIMA atelier. 

CI MA studio works mainly doing refurbishments for private clients following the project from scratch to building site with the finishes choice and curing the interior design.
CI MA takes part in design competitions on different scales and questions itself every day about what we need to maintain and what we have to introduce, both materially and conceptually, in our lives and in the spaces we live.

CI

CI is Arch. Andrea Cippitelli who was born in Macerata, studied Architecture at FAF in Ferrara and at FAUP in Porto. After the Master Degree, he became Registered Architect and started a Second Level Post Graduate Master in Sustainable Constructive Design Process with IUAV of Venice that ended up with a stage in London at Ash Sakula Architects.
In London he worked as architect at Williams Griffiths Architects, GRID Architects and Robert Hirshfield Architects being involved in architectural projects that interested existing buildings in historical contexts. Back to Italy, he collaborated with Lado Architetti  and then founded CI MA studio.

CI likes communicating his ideas and finding the best way to realize it projecting with MA.

MA

MA is Arch. Maria Vittoria Campagna who was born in Bologna and studied Architecture at FAF in Ferara. After the Master Degree and the registration, she started a formation period and a long collaboration at ZOOFORM, a Bologna based practice. She was involved in refurbishment projects for private clients and above all in the retail design  of  high fashion stores as an allaround process of spaces design till the custummade furniture and lighting design. She also  was part in the restyling process of the Bologna airport.

All her know-how was carried inside the new CI MA studio. 

MA likes creating, selecting atmospheres and chosing matchings. She projects at every scale maintaining an unmistakable style together with CI.

Nel 2021 CI MA studio inizia la sua ricerca, che partendo da Bologna attua una continua ricerca di esplorazione in cui la progettazione diviene elemento di unione tra concetto e realizzazione esplorando le tematiche di architettura, paesaggio, urbanistica, artigianato ed interni.

Come un animale anfibio che vive tra due condizioni ambientali diverse, trovando sempre nuovi stimoli ed insegnamenti passando da una all'altra, la nostra attività si muove tra l'epifania creativa e la concretizzazione del cantiere, tra il recupero del passato e la sorpresa delle nuove proposte moderne, tra estetiche fortemente minimali o brutali e dettagli decorativi.

Con lo sforzo continuo e quotidiano della creazione di nuove spazialità e scenari, CI MA si pone l'obiettivo di mettere in connessione mondi non sempre vicini, pensando che proprio da alcune nuove unioni, possano generarsi soluzioni progettuali nuove, come è avvenuto dall'unione di CI e MA.
